The engine light comes on with a ding, the abs, sway bar dis, traction control, brake, esp bas lights all stay on, speedometer goes up and down repeatedly, cruise control turns off then on (if it was on) radio sound mutes and best of all it SHIFTS OUT OF DRIVE. This all happens at whatever speed I'm driving at the time.

Holy crap. Sounds like a big time electrical problem or possibly your computer needs reflashed. There is one thing that might work, repeat:

The power of the Rubicon Compels thee !!

An updated version with more info. Now I get to wait for the diagnosis. I'm also gonna get in on the lawsuit starting for this crap.

Let me tell you a story about a Jeep named dead.
At approximately sept 12 2014 my 2010 JKR (Jeep Rubicon for the non Jeep folk) became possessed,
Lights that turned on;
Engine light
Brake light
ABS light
ESP BAS light
Traction control light
Sway bar disconnect light,
then the engine stalled but started

Tuesday 16th
All previous lights came on
Engine stalled but started

Thursday 18th
Driving down freeway
All previous lights came on
Cruise control toggled between cancelled/ set several times
Speedometer went flat
Tachometer fluttered up and down
Vehicle kept driving

Monday 22nd
All previous lights came on
Engine stalled but started,
shortly after that while driving down the highway,
all previous lights came on
Speedometer flattened out
Radio sound muted/quit
Jeep shifted into neutral( AT 60 MPH) then back into drive but continued to drive with just the check engine light on.

September 26th
All previous lights came on
Engine stalled but started
Shortly after while driving
All previous lights
Speedometer flattened out
Radio sound muted/quit
Jeep shifted into neutral then back into drive twice but continued to drive with just the check engine light

October 1st
All previous lights
Came on engine stalled
Tried to restart but when the engine attempts to start it stutters from start to off but won't start.
Awesome huh? It's at the dealership now.

^^^^^^^^^^

I wondering if you have a rodent nest somewhere? Just seems weird to be all over the place and when I have seen like things on other vehicles, it usually was due to either mice or squirrels getting into the wiring somewhere and chewing on them.

Something similar happened in my 07 JK.

All dash light lit up and it just died.
Restarted and went into limp mode, just enough power to get home at 10 mph.

fired up in the morning but several dash lights were still on. Towed it to dealer fearing electrical gremilns had taken over.

Turned out to be short inside the factory battery. No problems for another 6 months until battery #2 started to die. Slow start, dim lights etc.
Bought an Odyssey deep cycle and ran fine for next 5 years until I traded it in.

Hope your issue is something simple and Chrysler stands behind their product and fixes it for free.

This begs for the question: "Has your Jeep leaked a lot lately?"
In another thread we have been talking about leaks around the foam pieces. The interest here is that I had a rash of electrical problems when I suffered heavy rains for days at a time. But after a "dry out" time all was quiet. Now the leaks are gone! Now it seems the shift is stuck in park and eng can't be started... sigh... LOL
Haunted??!! 8P
Happy holloween!!!!

mine had a similar problem, and 2 cables needed to be replaced. That fixed it. Cost was 557.00
