I drive a 2010 jeep wrangler 4 door sport unlimited....So when I am driving or sitting in park, when I go from no foot on the gas to almost half/full throttle, the ESP BAS, TRACTION CONTROL, and the ELECTRIC THROTTLE light comes on. The engine starts to run kind of rough and tries to bog itself down like its an ABS problem. I am thinking possible Throttle position sensor problem? I do the Chrysler key forward and back to see if a code comes up but there is none...? I have yet to hook a scan tool up and see how everything is running, didnt know if anyone has run into the same problem and its a easy fix. Any help will be great.
Mine (3.8 ) did some crazy seemingly unrelated stuff when the camshaft position sensor was going out, could be a sensor somewhere. Can they hook up diagnostics while you let the aliens loose to see what is happening?
When you get ABS/EDP/BAS lights at the same time. It is either the sterring wheel is off center, or a wheel speed sensor is out.
Either way, the ECM takes action and says that you are trying to accelorate into a turn. It will diable the throttle and apply the brakes. You engine bogging down is the safety feature nanny Mopar has installed.
The ESP/BAS could just be the steering wheel off center. the ABS is the tricky one. It will comeon as a part of the nanny program. But, it sould be a failed wheel sensor.
