Got my 2.5" MC lift on but haven't done new brake lines yet. I've been looking at the crown brakes with the factory bracket. Not real fond of zip ties to the shock or the line moving between the spring and the shock. Also considering taking the stock line out of the bracket. What is everyone else doing? What works, what doesn't?
I put my MC 2.5 lift on and in the front I ran the lines behind the shock. If you work the lines when you're installing them you can get them to loop so that they don't touch anything when the suspension is flexing.
What year? 2012 and up are plenty long enough if you remove the lower bracket by the bottom of the spring. My lines are still in the box 6 months later.
Do a you tube search. I bolted them back into place and used vice grips at just the right angle to lock in grip and pry down.
Start at one end - seems like once it starts the center and other end open up pretty easy.
