New Tires

I travel a lot for work, put 61k miles on my JKUR in 14 months. I can't believe the oem rubicon tires lasted me this long. Looking to run 285/70r17. I still want an aggressive tire but am looking for something with decent tread life. Any suggestions?

Looks like you latest found them!!.... So far I love my stock rubi tires. Quiet and aggressive looking.

I would look at the General Tire AT2 and everyone's favorite the Goodyear Duratrac.
I got the BFGOODRINCH MT ' on my Willies but when they wear out I'm going to the General Tire AT2.
They got a 60,000 mile warrantie and are severe weather rated.

Just my 02.

Thanks for the input. Came across a good deal on some Goodyear MTR's, any idea how well the would wear?

I don't think they wear that great.
On my 03 I got two years but I was not driving that far they might have changed, well they changed tread pattern anyway.

I run 285/75R-17 Toyo M/T's on my Jeep. Not too noisy on the road, good traction on and off-road, and extremely tough sidewalls. I had not just one but two of the stock BFG KM's fail on the trail and as such will never trust BF Goodrich again. That was a really bad night. The Toyos are also very heavy and the rather large sidewall lugs make the tire wider than advertised. I went with these tires to avoid more sidewall failures, the Duratracs just aren't strong enough for me.
