Question Nitro Vs. Hydro

HELPPPPPPPPPPP I am going to buy a lift kit or budget lift and I need to know what are the pro's and cons of Nitro and Hydro. I did a search on this site and didn't find anything. Please help fellow Jeepers!

IIRC the hydro shocks are softer than the nitro shocks.

At least with the Skyjacker shocks, I was told by a guy at the factory that the hydro shocks are a bit softer, and are meant for everyday road traffic. The nitro shocks are a more robust but stiff shock that is meant for more off road duties.
