springs on it now are 14/56.... what should I expect if I were to put 18/59's? Found a set on craigslist... not sure if it'd be worth it to pick em up. Obviously for the right price.

Thanks,
Chris

I gained about 1" with 17/58's and added a 3/4" spacer front and rear and the Jeep sets the way I like it

I was thinking about doing what spinlock said.

Or

to put just the springs on today

and then order the front 1" spacers and quick disconnects and put them on once they show up. Just to see the difference. I wish it wasn't cold outside :(

Agree with JTB488 and Spinlock. I went from the 14/56 on my '13 Rubicon HT and went with the Teraflex leveling kit (2" spacers front, 3/4' spacer rear) and is was just what I was looking for to get rid of the factory rake and add a small amount of height. After adding bumper/winch/armor lost about an inch of height in front, less at the rear. Used the approx spring formula that gives about 5/16" per incremental spring number in front and around 1/4" or a little less per spring number for rear springs. I figure overall I gained 2-1/4" average after all was done. First pic is before and second pic is after.

So you in essence put in a 2 1/4" lift without all the other supporting hardware for a proper lift. Here is a diagram to go by to see what your actual lift is. If you really got that much lift you should consider sourcing out the rest of the parts to address suspension geometry.

Measuring from the floor to the middle of the fenders I gained 1". Not bad for $100 I guess. Install was very easy and painless, taking my time with no power tools took about 1 hour. I learned that I need taller jack stands tho

Been searching around a bit, is there a thread that goes in depth with the different OEM suspensions? I understand the spring numbers (save for the 10A springs that are odd ball numbers). What I'm after is info on the shocks (are there different lengths? Rubicon shocks valved different / longer?). Also looks like some Rubicons have different control arms and track bars? Thanks!

There is no difference in suspension components between any of the models except for the 10A which only has a bit taller spring.
Shocks- Rubicons have a red gas shock .. Sahara's have a Black gas shock valved a bit softer then the Rubi. Sport has regular oil shocks. All are the same length.
