Hey everybody have already started modding my Jk :iamhappy: ! Scored some day one Rubicon Takeoffs added a Front winch Bumper and already have about a .5" Sag...Winch is on way so I'm sure it will sag a little more over time! Rake at this point is bad . Looking at adding some Oldman Emu 2" Lift coils to Even out front with rear! Question is should I go with Light Duty Spring or HDs? Thanks for input! Will also be replacing factory shocks with Rancho RS7000 Shocks !

If you are currently running stock springs and all you want to do is eliminate the sag from the extra weight the most predictable method is to add a spacer equal to the sag + any additional height you want (within reason), if any.

The OME HD coils are designed to provide the advertised lift plus maybe some extra on a Jeep with extra weight such as yours so you will get the full 2"+ of lift. If you just want to eliminate the sag go with the LD coils but keep in mind you may still get some additional lift beyond just eliminating the sag.

What kind of wheeling?

Honestly very Light live in South Texas not many Rocks and Cliffs. Mainly Flat most wheeling will be done in boggy wet stuff so not a Crazy amount of Flexing going on. Would love to get into some more hardcore wheeling just don't know where to go in Texas! Mud and Sand are be my biggest obstacle down here!.

I don't know about the south but east texas isn't much better, mostly just ignoring road closed signs. Im a big fan of the RK springs, I have OME shocks and if they resemble the springs it would be a road queen, very smooth and soft ride. Not saying they cant handle offroad just that if you do a lot of on road driving the OME might be a better choice. Mud and sand lol Mud is get as tall as you can with the skinniest tallest tires in hopes of finding the bottom and beach is wide fat tires with nominal tread to stay on top of the sand. I like the look of the fatties myself, but I hate mud being slung all over the side of my jeep, especially the o so famous Red clay we have around here. I vote RK, you sure 1.5'' is going to be enough? not trying to persuade you but I live in texas too, we tend to not be "small" minded people lol

I have heard from a few different people with the OME kits, that they do provide a great on road ride. If truly made around the Australian roadways or the outback, then I can see it being a great setup. They have these road train roads which are one lane highways, not one lane east and one way west literally two lanes of traffic with only one lane. So traveling 110kmh and having to merge into packed dirt and rock to let a roadtrain go by while staying around 100kmh then merging back onto the roadway which can be anywhere from level to a 6'' drop and not loose control? So with that being OME home ground I'd say its a very responsive system. We had the same setup in our ute's and I have no complaints.

I have OME front and rear. I would not recommend adding just the OME fronts. They will likely make your Jeep ride nose high. I very much like these springs, but you will need to either also add the OME rears, or a spacer to your rear spring. They OME HD gives a true 2 inches of lift even with a heavy bumper and winch. You will also need to upgrade your shocks or at least add shock spacers.

If you don't want to change anything else, then you might be better off with a set of cheap 1 inch front spacers, Rock Krawler 1.5 inch front springs, or a set of Synergy 1 inch front springs.

Thanks for input going to be doing a kit now with front and rear springs will either go with Rock Krawler or OME HD. Doing my research now as to what all is needed to do a proper 2" lift to make sure I get a kit with everything I need.

This is a very complete long travel kit, based on the 2" OME HD springs.

Old Man Emu JK Long Travel Lift Kit

It uses the same long travel shocks as the Metalcloak Game Changer ARB.

I was in the same situation. Added bumper with winch and full skids. Caused the factory springs to sag. I installed the OME 2" heavy springs and couldn't be happier with the ride. It did sit a little nose high, so I added RK 1.5" rear springs. It sits about perfect for me.
Only thing I needed was sway bar disconnects in the front (JKS 0-2"). Adjusted the drag link to center the steering wheel.
Rides great with the factory Rubicon shocks and works well off road.
