ORO Blacked Out Tail Lights Made Legal

Here in Pa they "frown upon" the blacked out look I found out!! (state says you need reflectors) So I had an Idea and contacted Don from pixel decals. I gave him measurements on rings to make in reflective red and this is how they came out!

With a little light!

I keep coming back to look at your photo. It's really creative and sets you apart from others. I am wondering how you back lit the "4 wheel drive" also, did you fabricate the armor yourself?

If I understand this correctly, the tail light ring and the 4 Wheel Drive are both reflective stickers in a red reflective material correct? The last picture where it appears they are lit up, is actually showing what they look like when a light is shining on them. I had to take a double take myself thinking they were backlit. Very well done.

That's where my confusion was too. The OP said reflectors but they look awfully bright.

I think it's a good quality reflective sticker with a very fine reflective pattern and a good light, perhaps a LED, that gives it this glow in the photo. If you use a triangle patterned sticker material you would see more of a glittered pattern as each section lit up based on light it reflected. This is a nice, smooth reflection of light.

Actually its just the flash from my phone. It is reflective tape. I had pixel decals do all my decals in this including my rubicon stickers. Stands out a bit!! As for the tailgate, I drew it up, and my buddy plasma cut it for me. The corners are RiverRaider.
