To be safe, you should get your battery and charging systems tested. Did you have to get a jump b/c yourself or kids left the radio playing (just an example)or did you have to get a jump just randomly?

Thank you for your responses.....I had the battery checked and it is fine... The key was left in the ignition in the on position while I was adjusting the frequency on my C.B. radio (I forgot the keys and left the keys in the on position) which killed my battery.... When AAA came they gave me a jump and tested the alt and battery. Said to keep it running for about an hour, which I did. But, low and behold the engine light still comes on and the code shows a low battery voltage..... I know the battery is good, its new...That is why I wanted to know how to turn off the warning....

If the problem is truly gone, the light should turn itself off after a number of restarts. If it doesn't you probably still have a problem.
