Possible broken axle

Hello all,
I am driving myself crazy and could use some help here. I was wheeling today for the first time since i got regeared to 4.56. Gears have 500 miles on them and they are broken in. There was a fair bit of snow on the ground still in the trails and one of my buddies got stuck. Strapped him up and gave it a good go but i wasnt able to get him out. Some decent spinning and a little bunnyhopping occurred. Afterwords going down a hill i noticed a noise. Almost like a pop/tink. Didnt occur under any specific circumstance i.e hitting a bump or something. Went down to the plateau and ran it back and forth in 4 low and it did it a couple of times. I feel like i could feel it in the jeep. Took it up and down the road in 2hi and couldnt get it to do it and jeep felt fine. Got home and torqued everything up and got a few nuts to spin up front before they torqued out. I would love to think it was just a loose suspension part. Took it to the park parking lot and went up and down in 4lo and couldnt get it to do it. Loose suspension part? Axle twisted/broken? New ring an pinion messed up? Please help

Trust me ... You would know it if a axle was bent/broken or diff gears were messed up.

Sleep tonight

Couple noises I can recall. No source ever found,

A month or two after buying the jeep I took it through some deep mud. Wasn't even pushing it or on the throttle. There was this load bang. I though something hit my undercarriage but nothing was underneath. Drove off w/o any issues.

Then the metallic clanking. I hear this whenever off pavement. I posted about it actually looking for advice.

Things are twisting and put through a lot of stress off road. Some noises are going to be common and pretty much normal. Ex .. Ever around a jeep with coil overs ? Lol

I'd pull the diff cover and make sure all is well. You mentioned you had a regear, so it might be worth taking a look inside...hopefully it's nothing.

Gonna pull it on monday or Wednesday to drop the break in fluid and take a look. Took a drive to get some chinese food and all seemed well.
