Am running 2.5 teraflex coil with 9000's. Goodyear MTRs I have driven them on setting 5,6,7. Having a hard time finding a setting. Feels like I have a lot of throwing me around for lack of a better term or maybe body roll. Kind of side to side when going over small bumps or around turns or over small speed bumps. Is there anyway to tighten anything up?? I read everyone say that this setup rides better than stock??? Thoughts?

I have them on with my teraflex spring leveling kit and am running 315/70 Cooper STT
Pros. You're set way high, your settings would be fine on the trail.

My DD settings:
Front shock setting 1. Rear shock setting 2. Tire pressure at this time 32 psi on E rated tire.

I would probably turn them down a bit. Try 5 front and 3 rear. Depending on how much aftermarket weight you have on the jeep, adjust from there. Those TF coils may need some extra weight if you're bone stock, but the lower shock setting would help a lot.

Welcome to the world of MTR's. I replace almost everything with my steering, track bars and all 8 adjustable control arms. My only complaint is the tires and the way they handle the road. Will a better shock help? I switched from running the 9000 to the new 5000x's. The ride is definitely firmer but the tires still have their quirks. Fwiw I know exactly where you're at. I actually preferred the stiffer settings running my MTR's, and I drive a two door... Much less forgiving.

Do you have an adjustable lower arms or correction brackets?

I have the teraflex fixed lower front control arms.

We used to run our 9000s at very low settings, still do off road, but strangely enough we prefer them actually in the high zone. Even my wife has begun to appreciate that you feel the road and it appears your more in control, less mushy, although its never been overly mushy. If that makes any sense. We also are running STT Pro's, which we really like allot. Running them at this time at 31 PSI (35s on 15s)

What size MTRs? If 35" that might be to high because as they heat up the PSI goes up. So "hot" you are at 34-35 PSI. Try dropping the PSI so your "hot" pressure is close to 30. Not saying this is the answer but is worth a try.

Each Jeep is different and tuning it to your desired feel takes time and experimenting. Heck it took me a year to get the "formula" on my JKU just right. Our JK was easier but it was also kept simpler.
