RE rear upper adjustable control arm length??

hi everybody,

i run a 3 inch frankenlift (RK coils, fox 2.0's, a few teraflex and a few jks parts, aev geo brackets) and while out wheeling i bent a rear lower control arm and replaced the rears with the Rubicon Express fixed length rear lower arms, the arms are roughly 1/4 inch longer than stock. when speaking with northridge i was told the slightly longer rear arms 'should' not affect my pinion angle enough to be an issue. well with the 3 inch lift on my 2dr and these arms it appears that my driveshaft is clicking/ratcheting away under load, mostly in reverse but a little going forward.... no vibes while driving though. so all that to say i ordered the RE adjustable uppers today (price and next day availability) and am wondering if anybody can suggest what length i should adjust them to before install, i don't really have the option to install and uninstall a bunch of times to adjust to perfection, i just want them to be nice and close and not ruin the new driveshaft that my kind dealer is replacing under warranty.

any suggestions on the length needed? thanks!

Follow @kjeeper10 advice and set your pinion where you want it using a floor jack and set the uppers to whatever length they need to be to just bolt in.

thanks guys! initially i was looking to go with the teraflex fixed rear uppers that measure in at around 19. when talking with teraflex they suggested the longer length (approx 1/4 over stock iirc) would be ideal to pair with my longer lowers. i'm really not sure and appreciate your experienced inputs.
