Rear TB Question

If I do a rear adjustable trackbar do I need to do the drop bracket? Or is the drop bracket only if I wanted to keep my OE rear trackbar?

Here's the thing... You should install a raised axle side bracket like this one from TF

Why ? TF explains it best here

Your drop bracket does not correct geometry (roll center) like a raised bracket will.

Save some $$ and install a raised bracket. At 3" of lift the axle will be centered raised 3" (or close) no need for a adjustable track bar.

When you raise your Jeep your differential shifts in 3 directions: sideways, towards the center of the Jeep and vertically away from the chassis.

Ideally it would only move away from the Jeep (lift). In order to correct the other movements you need a longer (adjustable) TB to recenter the diff laterally and a set of 4 longer (adjustable) control arms to move it towards the edge of the Jeep longitudinally.

In addition to these 3 shifts, the operating angle of all 5 links (4 CAs and TB) increases. In order to correct the geometry specially designed brackets that relocated the link mount points are available.
