Rear Window

I noticed that there isn't even a rear defrost option for my car. The back window does have the wiring integrated into the window for a defrost, but there isn't a button for it up in the front on the knob. Does this mean that the rear wiper and defrost was never installed since there isn't even a wiring harness and hose to connect to the back (that I can find at least)?

What year do you have? From pg. 294 of the 2013 owner's manual:

The rear window defroster button is located on
the bottom right-side of the blower control knob.
Press this button to turn on the rear window defroster.
An indicator in the button will illuminate when the rear
window defroster is on. The rear window defroster
automatically turns off after approximately 10 minutes.
For an additional five minutes of operation, press the
button a second time.

First, it isn't a car. Second, I'm guessing that you have a pre-owned Jeep. It probably didn't come from the factory with the hard top and was added by the PO. You can purchase the wire harness and switch.

Idk, it's not plugged in because there is no wire. I'm pretty sure the daggo66 was right and that it originally came with a soft top.

It has been widely posted that a cute little kitten dies whenever someone calls a Jeep a car. Now I'm not much of a cat fan but I still call a Jeep a Jeep.
