anyone else get a recall letter for the 2008 model??

Oh yea --J30-reflash of the ECM for HiTemp dash icon and "limp mode" alternate

Don't just get that recall addressed with only the warning light! It does you no good other than telling you you have a problem and need to shut down and cool off. Service Bulletin # 07-002-10 has been issued for '07-'10 JKs literally in the last 2 weeks and JEEP should be willing to install a heavy duty transmission cooler kit based on this. Press them to do this because you don't want a problem that triggers the light. I sure hope they will not wait until you actually have an overheat issue. I did and had to have the transmission rebuilt followed by the installation of this transmission cooler, luckily at JEEP's expense. Still not happy this happened in the first place but JEEP knows they have overheating auto transmissions everywhere and this is their first attempt to address it. Good luck.
