Redline MTL

I have a 2014 JKU with a 6 speed and I am starting to get a little bit of the 6 speed rattle that others have talked about. I'm thinking of trying Redline MLT but I'm concerned if it does develop into a problem i will affect the warranty by using it. Anyone using MTL ever had a problem going back to the dealer for warranty work after using it?

I just put MTL in my 2012...seems quieter and shifts better.

I didn't have a problem getting a NV3500 replaced on my old Jeep when using RP Sychromax.

I don't think there is any way they're going to be able to tell you've changed it. Its not dyed a screwball color like some of the other stuff. Felt like it smoothed the shifting out a little bit in mine (not huge).

It also meets Chryslers spec.

It meets spec MS-9224 and their website specifically mentions its safe for brass synchros. You SHOULD be good but we all know how Chrysler can be when it comes to voiding warranties...

Me too. I'll be changing it every 10K. Probably overkill, but its cheap and it's easy to do and it makes a difference.

We'll I decided to go for it and I'm glad I did. It makes a huge difference, much smoother and the rattle is gone. It is red and looks like ATF so I was a little concerned about having to explain it was Redline and not auto trans fluid but I saved one of the containers and printed the spec sheet to have on hand just in case. I know I probably worry to much.
