Question Rubbery steering!

Hi! My name is Steve and I live in Oman and have just bought a 'pre-loved' Wrangler Sahara Unlimted (100km). When I drive off - road all OK but when on bumpy tarmac/concrete the steering is very rubbery and loose/slack leading to over correction of steering to ensure I am heading in the right direction. I got the wheels aligned but still have the problem. Any thoughts or gudiance would be much appreciated?

Welcome to the Forum!

Does your Jeep have stock suspension and tires?

Have you checked the tire air pressure and balance? Alignment?

Check the area where the Steering Box mounts. Look for cracks or broken brackets.
You may not notice this off road......Just a thought. "BH"
