Im running the MOPAR 3-4 inch lift with the 35" Toyo M/T on and an 18. Under full compression there is only a 1/4 inch or so of clearance. They dont rub; but I dont like how close it is. A little trim-trim and youre good to go. With a clean cut you can probable still use the cap on the rail again.
Those control arms must have moved your axle back some. With stock control arms my 35" Toyo MT's would just kiss the caps of the rubirails at full stuff. I took off about 1.5" and now they clear with lots of room to spare.
At full stuff with 2.5 inch lift. The tires are at about 40% tread and barely touching, when new they rubbed a lot. Still need to trim the rails, it's on my giant to do list.
Edit: 35x12.50 km2. With true sized 35's would have rubbed a lot worse.
I am not sure if you have a two door or 4 door. I have a 4 door with 35x12.5" BFG KM2's a 3 1/2 inch lift and ACE rock rails. The tires just kiss the Rubi rails when the Jeep hits the bump stops. I just took the Rubi rails off. Saved about 80 pounds. The ACE rails do everything the Rubi rails would do and more.
I only took a half inch off, and didn't trim the seam. I have a 2012 with a 2.5 teraflex coil lift, and 35 goodyear mtr/k. It's close, but never rubbed. If they were a true 35, and not a 34.7 I think I might have had to cut more, and the seam. I took the rails off, had the tires mounted, and then saw what I needed for clearance. When it was done we hit the trail, and flexed out with no rubbing. All this being said without adjustable control arms they will need to be trimmed. I hope this helps ya.
