Runs rough and sluggish

I always wanted a jeep so I recently purchased a 2007 2dr jeep jk manual transmission with 47,000 miles on it. I've only had this vehicle for roughly four months. I've always heard that jeeps were slow and I have no problem with the speed. I just feel it runs sluggish when taking off from 1st and 2nd. I've also noticed if I go over 3000 rpm's in those gears my engine seem to run/ rev very hard. If I drive it like I'm cruising it drives fine. I have cleaned the throttle body, and I have also used a fuel injection cleaner. Does anyone have any suggestions on insight for me the jeep rookie.

No mods yet. It's all with factory specs.

You might want to find a local Jeep club or experienced 3.8 Jeeper in your area. They would be able to quickly help you determine an issue or if it is normal.

I was debating on just taking it in to the local jeep dealer to have them check it out. I may just have to bite the bullet and take it in
