Screw holes for what? (Rear lower roll bar [JKU])

Noticed screw holes for a bolt(obviously) on my roll bar in the rear. What are they for?

Gun rack!

In all honesty, I don't know. I am wondering the same.

Yup, seatbelt bolts are the ones facing the ones with the threads. They probably use the same tubes for the roll bar that the 2dr's use which is why they are there... as those are for the 2 dr rear seat belts.

my 2000 sport has the same thing. i'm thinking the folks at Jeep put them there just in case you find you have extra screws that go to nothing, you can put them in these screw holes.

Dominion off road makes a hi lift mount that uses the ones at the top of the roll bar. I had it until I swapped tops.
