Hey ya'll... ive got a rough country series 2, 2.5" budget boost on stock rubicon springs/shocks. Loved it at first... now after bumpers, winch, sliders, etc I feel like im dragging the ground. First step for me will be to remove pucks/spacers and replace with coils... wondering if I should go with 2.5" springs or if i could het away with 3"? Thoughts?
What else came with the kit? It really depends, remember that most lift companies account for a loaded rig so if your on the lighter end (sounds like you might not be) then u will get more lift anyhow. 2 door or 4 door?
Brake lines are extended, adjustable track bar in front, track bar bracket in back, end links, geometry correction lca drop brackets for the caster... its all great, just sagging like an old lady. I think im gonna go remove the spacers and coils and put some 3" synergy coils in there.
yeah you should be fine with 3" coils and ive heard great things about synergy coils, just cycle it and check your shocks to make sure your not over extending them.
I would go 2" spring you will get more like 3" out of them even if you are loaded and especially if your stock springs are sacked. Been there done that, lol
Pardon my ignorance y'all... I believe 'negative rake' might have been what I was after. It's settled (no pun intended), I'm going synergy 3" in the front, 2" in the back. X-mas list is authored
