I have had the traffic feature in a couple of other vehicles I have owned and found it to be overrated and never was useful in my experience. Most times I was notified way after turn off for different route workaround options.
Most times on my commute nowadays is to just check the traffic on my iPhone apps like INRIX or Waze before heading out.

Maybe I'll just use the apps instead. I think my parents have it, but it was like Nav traffic from sirius.
