Anyone running the side shades? Trying to ease the wind on the little one in the back seat but don't wanna spend the money if they don't block the wind. I have the long top shade already.
I'm near-bald-ing - and driving with the top down means fighting to keep my John Deere baseball cap on. I hear that if I had a CAT baseball cap I wouldn't have this problem, but since I don't own any CAT equipment I don't want to be called a poser - it's bad enough that I drive a Dozer Jeep. Given all of this, I'm planning on picking up a spiderweb shade this year so I don't have to swerve madly to catch my hat.
Where are you guys/gals ordering the SWS from? Lots online, just want a good reputable place to order from. Price seems to be about the same everywhere so looking for good services. Thanks
First question is: what is this strange thing called a back seat you guys are talking about?
Second question: if I put the top shade on wouldn't it be just like riding with the soft top up? I enjoy feeling the sunshine on me when I drive (when the sun actually shines around here) so what is the point of the shade?
lol, yes the back seat is an elusive beast to most 2dr owners like myself. I use it when the nieces come to visit and we have our first on the way so it will get used on occasion.
The shade is made of a mesh material that does let you still feel that top down experience but with less wind and sunburns. I am in sunny Colorado so if you are in a area that doesn't get much sun then it may not be for you.
We'll I have a 3year old so the back seat is her place. The sunshade is their for the family so they don't get burnt. I prefer it off but it'll come in handy when it hits triple digits in Georgia.
