Squeaky brake pedal on 2014 Altitude

Hi everyone. I noticed a slight squeak when I depressed the brake pedal in my 2014 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Altitude. When I went in for an oil change, I had them look at it. Turns out, when they removed the master cylinder they found brake fluid leaking INTO the booster. Both parts had to be replaced. That was 2 weeks ago. Yesterday, I get into the Jeep to go to work and the brake pedal goes down to the floor, there's nothing there. I look on the driveway and there is a small puddle of brake fluid. Under the hood, there is still a good amount of brake fluid in the canister, but I can see it's leaking again somewhere inside. I feel like the same 2 parts will need to be replaced A SECOND TIME. Anyone know why this keeps happening?? I feel like the dealer isn't doing their job, or do you think it's the parts just continually failing?? It had to be towed this morning out of my driveway. Any advice would greatly help me. I am nervous this will happen when I'm driving!!!

That isn't normal, most of us drive our jeeps without brake issues. Sounds like they may have done a poor job replacing the master. Could be bad lines or fittings that were leaking in the first place.

My brake pedal creaks (not really squeaks) as I apply pressure. I will have to poke my head under there and see what is going on.

My break pedal is a noisy bitch and I am having it looked at next week. Second time for this concern. I will let you know what they do with mine. Sounds like a squeaky bed that someone's having fun in....
In your situation I would think they will make sure everything is good. I'm a tech and I sure as hell quadruple check my work when it's a safety item. Something probably got missed, and this will be a wake-up call for the tech, as well as an ass chewing from the foreman. Take it back and let them fix it.

Hi, thanks for your response! Jeep actually still has the Jeep and they can't seem to figure out what's going on. They told me it was an air bubble at first, but I said that was an unacceptable answer. Does an air bubble cause a leak, total brake failure and a puddle of brake fluid on the driveway?? My cousin is a mechanic and he looked at it in my driveway and said it was leaking inside, so he couldn't locate it w/o taking it apart, but he said he didn't think it was an air bubble. I drove the car for 200 miles after they initially changed the master cylinder & booster and it was fine, until it wasn't. :(

There is a little spring under the brake pedal. When mine squeeked i just sprayed it with silicone spray. The last 6 months its been quiet now its back so im just going to put some moly grease on for a more permanent solution

bringing an old topic back to life ... does the silicone spray really work to correct this issue because it is annoying as hell ... I only had this creeking issue in the summer when it was warm outside, but now it seems like it starts to creek all the time, after driving my jeep for about 10 kms or so ... it won't do it when I initially get in and starting driving out of my driveway ..

Anyone have any solutions that they may have received from the dealer ? any fixes ?

thanks !
