I'm looking for a new steering stabilizer. The rancho kit is 80$ on Amazon. The bilstein stabilizer is 64. I know the bilstein maybe more than my stock jeep needs but does it need a kit like the rancho to install or will it go straight on where the factory was?
No, you should not have to buy a bracket, just need to make sure you get the correct stabilizer for your rig. Even a factory stabilizer with mount in the brackets you are mentioning. The bracket just relocates the stabilizer a over the tie rod instead of below. This way you don't bust it on the rocks.
