actually had one of those 'come around the corner at normal highway speed (55) and confront a mud slide flagger guy hiding behind his flag pole...had to suddenly stomp on the brakes in an 'urgent' moment that could have ended poorly....
As I steered to the dirt shoulder and hit the pedal pretty hard, the off-side tires were almost to the break-loose point, when some kind of built-in electronic gizmo kicked in and stopped all the wheels equally well.
Was quite pleased to find the system under a real-life moment works really well. I'm sure I would have been sliding a bit without it.
