Synergy Stage 1 - 2" lift

Does anyone have any comments on this lift? This would be for a 2 door with the only added weight being sliders. Wanting to keep the final lift below 3" if possible.

I have been doing lots of reading and reviews on the control arms and track bar are favorable. Problem is I can't find anything on the springs or anyone actually running the full kit.

I am open to suggestions on other kits as well. Daily driver/Tow rig/Weekend toy.

Thanks

Synergy from what i hear has great coils. What kit you looking at ? . You want at least front lowers or uppers for caster angle.

Check with Synergy on the heights. Their coils retain the rake. So lets say you want 3", you will need 4" front coils and 3" rear coils, or 3" front and 2" rear. Best to call, give them your lift height just to make sure you get the right coils.

Thanks for the help. I will email them asking about how much lift I can expect.

The kit is the Stage 1, 2" lift. I am planning to add fixed LCA, probably Synergy due the good reviews on the newer bushings.

Lift height doesn't have to be 3". From reading online, it seems over 3 causes driveshaft issues. Am I wrong on this? I am hoping that Synergy kit will put me around 2.5 to 3".

I was also looking at the MC 2.5 Lift, but it seems their springs would put the rig well over 3".

Any suggestions on other lifts or suggestions?

Synergy is quality stuff, I wouldn't be too concerned about the quality of their coils, personally.

The only thing I would check is to make sure the fixed LCA's you are buying are slightly longer than stock. I'm sure they are but I would still verify that. Otherwise you gain nothing.

Fronts are .25 longer.

Here is the reply I received from Chris at Synergy:

"Our coil springs will give up to an inch more lift on a vehicle in stock trim. The advertised height is assuming a vehicle with bumpers, winch, full size spare, skids, and cage. You will be around 3?.

If you do fixed length lower arms, you will not need the cam bolts that are part of the Stage 1 Kit. So make sure you are not ordering those. You do not need rear upper arms unless you need to adjust pinion angle for an aftermarket rear driveshaft. You will want rear lower arms at this point as well."

Why the rear LCA? I sent another email back to Chris asking this question.

The front fixed LCA are 1/4" longer.

Now I need to look again. If I need front and rear LCA maybe they have a kit including them. Price keeps going up, and I still need shocks.

I believe he is saying that you will need the rears if you are correcting for an aftermarket drive shaft. At that lift height, you are good with just the front LCA's.

Good info. One of my 10 billions lines of thought are the synergy 2" springs. Going to be adding a winch and possibly tranny skid and current level kit looses over 1/2 when I put 100 lbs on the bumper.

Synergy replied back, stating that the longer rear control arms are to center the axle in the wheelwell.

I will go with pressurized and kjeepers recommendation, and pass on them.

So in addition to this kit, I think I would still need the following:

Bolt Kit
Exhaust spacer
Shocks
Brake line relocation brackets

Am I missing anything?

Looks good. You already caught that you don't need the brake line brackets. And you know not to use the cam bolts.

Add shocks, exhaust spacers and at least a track bar bolt kit...

Lift and enjoy!
