I love the Jeep Wrangler and always wanted to own one and now that I finally have one I am a bit concerned about this ticking sound and whether not I should return the vehicle back to the dealership. I am afraid that I am making a emotional decision on it because I love this vehicle so much but I will welcome anyone's advice.
Can someone please help me, Is this a major problem and should I return the Jeep back to the dealership ?
Hopefully you're not someone with this issue. Update on ticking Pentastar..new head...
This was a problem with some of the 2012's that spilled over to some early built 2013's. I would have thought by now the early 2013's were all sold out, unless yours was a leftover and is an early build 2013. But they sell like hotcakes so an early build 2013 leftover makes me wonder? It's a very long thread but it contains a lot of good information. Hopefully it's just the lifters.
