Tire choices

M planning to lift my 2013 JKU Rubicon (AEV 3.5 inch lift) and run 35 inch tires on AEV Savegre rims. I'm a dunce when it comes to figuring the correct tire size for this rim. I want a mud/terrain tire with good sidewall protection. Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you.

I'm going with same setup. So no problems with the stock fenders utilizing correct backspacing of 4.5 or 4.75 inches? For the OP I ran 33 cooper stt mt on my 2010 jeep and no gouges with the D rated sidewall. Will run same tire in 35 on a new jeep and believe they are 10 ply E rated.

Although the MTR's are good in deep snow, they don't have any siping, just large blocks of tread. I just ordered some 35" duratracs that I am going to mount on my rubi rims for winter. The duratracs are awesome in the winter, ran them on my last jeep, loved them!

Yeah I just put 315 Duratracs on my jeep. Man I love em.. They are pretty quiet, track perfectly and they claw and grip superbly. I went up jeepin up in the mountains with some buddies and did everything they did, even though a couple of them had concerns that my tires weren't "Mud Tires"

X2. The GY Duratracs are very good in the winter. The MT Baja MTZs are also great but tend to be slightly more pricey and loud.
