TPMS idiot light finally went off.

Finally after eight months. I put new sensors in some rock monsters that I bought and had the dealer get the computer to recognize them with the hexadecimal codes I got from the vendor. The dash showed the correct pressures but the idiot light would always come on when I started it up. Dealer could not fix that condition and said I needed to purchase MOPAR tpms. I tried all the usual fixes as suggested here like disconnecting the batt, adjusting psi etc.

Trouble shooting a parasitic drain I disconnected the battery to use an ammeter. This took about an hour to pull each fuse and test. Problem with M12 & M13 but when I reconnected the batt the idiot light went off. No more system error codes. Went thru four drive cycles and about one hundred miles and has not reappeared. So I guess the batt needed to be disconnected for more than ten minutes. Hope this helps someone with similar problem.

Now to trace those two circuits.

I did touch both terminals together. But maybe for ten seconds or so. I also disconnected the batts on more than one occasion but never left them disconnected for an hour or so. Not sure why the error code just went off but thinking time separated from the circuit played a roll.
