I would say no to it being wired for a brake controller. It may be wired for trailer lights though.

The answer is no, it is not. I had mine outfitted with a brake controller because when my son's boy scout troop goes camping their trailer has electric brakes. Cost me $250.00 approximately including the unit and installation. I think the unit itself sells for somewhere between $70.00 to $125.00. I like the idea of electric brakes so much I will probably outfit my trailer with them.
