Question Tranny slipping!!!

My '13 JKU is in the dealership since May 11. with a mileage 36000
the problem started with me since early times, like when I had 10000 or 15000 miles on it.

when i go offroading (in the desert of course) sometimes it goes into a limp mode and the tranny lockes into 3rd. but when turn it off and restart it again; it goes back to normal; so i kept saying to myself: this could be that the tranny acting too sensitive or something.
Anyway, this kept going like once everytime I go offroading. Until one day i was at home, and i tried to start the jeep, so i put it in "D" and the transmission started acting funny... its like changing from 1st to 4th while the jeep still under 10... i tried to restart it again... then i realise that the tranny is slipping.

So i took it to the dealership to see whats going on. FIRST thing they chaaged was the input speed sensor; didn't work. SECOND thing they changed was the valve body; and it did not work as well. THIRD thing they changed was the TCM (which was today btw) and still, nothing changed. it keeps throwing active codes.. the last code was P0735;which is 5th gear ratio error.

Guys, I really miss my jeep; and obviously these guys kept trying but they haven't find the solution yet. has anyone encounter such problem or have an opinion about it? please share it.

P.S. No regearing mods, 32" tires.

Well, they can only replace so many sensors before you put your foot down and demand a new transmission.

Off topic, but curious...

I see you're in Riyadh. I spent some time there in the early 80's during Operation Elf One (part of the U.S. Air Force mission during the Iran/Iraq War to make sure they left Kuwait and Saudi alone). Just curious what brings you there?

You might be asking sensitive information. He may have to kill you if he tells you.

UPDATE: They couldn't find out what's the real issue, after changing (Sensors, valve body, TCM). So they've ordered a brand new transmission; it will arrive within two to three weeks.

I'll keep you posted

Cheers
