Got a 2010 wrangler unlimited and got hit from behind
Back bumper needs to be replaced but where the bumper slides into the frame one of the sides is kinda bent.
Would a crowbar do the trick ?

You're asking if you can bend the frame back into shape with a crowbar???

Contact your insurance, and go to a body shop.

What???? The other guy hit you. It's not your expense. It's the other guy's insurance company who pays for your damage and repairs. And obviously you didn't fix it with a hammer, since you're here asking if you can bend your frame back into shape with a hammer.

I find it very hard to believe you just told the other guy "oh don't worry about it, have a nice day" after he hit you and bent up your Jeep. If you actually did that, either you're nuts or you had something to hide.

Do not know about the US, but in canada, parking hits are on owner inssurance. Not like a rolling hit.

Been in this situation before, (my bad, left info to driver/owner), called my inssurance company to informed them that they could get a call and told me that it was on other owner inssurance. But in this case, other did not need collision to be covered.

Not sure where you're from LUcky, but in Ontario, if you get hit in a parking lot and both parties are present, its a 50/50 split ....probably what you're explaining, each owner pays their own damage ....

UNLESS the other driver that hit you admits to be at fault then all blame is on the other driver ... it happened to my wife , the driver took all blame and fixed her car through his insurance .
Not accurate.....here is how Ontario's "No Fault" insurance system really works :

I'm in quebec

I just went trough the link taht was mentionned about Ontarion, and did not find anything really different than Quebec, but did not fou d anything about parked cars.

So indeed, it could be differrent. Like you mention, here, my inssurrance will cover for my car if it gor ran into and the other will do the same in a parking collision.

No if traveling and I get hit (not at fault) the other insurrance will cover my collision. But my inssurance company will deal with it.

I back up in my coworker's pick up that was behind me. Saw the truck behind, while getting in my truck, forgot it was there when I started backing. (Was in my blind spot). Bumper bender. Stopped, when inside to tell him.

Told me he was not worry since my inssurance would cover for his dammage, told him, got for it, but you will have a surprise. And for sure, his inssurance were covering for the issue. No discussions with my inssurrance company what so ever.

It was my third experience like that in twenty plus year, same result. I always stop, leave information if the driver is not on site so the police or the owner can call me, but same result.

So i do not call that 50/50. It is each theire own. In quebec anyway for parked vehicule.

If I understand the original question correctly, the end of one of the frame rails is bent. If that's the case, it's really not a big deal to straighten it enough to get the bumper to line up.

If the end is just bent out of shape, a BFH hitting one side while a helper holds something like a heavy piece of flat iron against the other side will true it up. If it's actually out of alignment, I've had success using a come-along with one end on the tip of the frame rail and the other attached to a tree to pull sideways and true everything back up. You would be surprised how easily a frame tip will bend sideways
