Whistling 2009 Soft-top

Does anyone have a problem with the soft top whistling on thier '09 JK? Mine makes a whistling noise when i hit about 20 mph...its not too bad, yet, but super annoying!

I have a Garvin expedition rack on mine ,it makes alot of noise.But when removed the top dose'nt whistle ,but also have wind deflector on top.http://www.quadratec.com/Assets/Imag.../101025-th.jpg

have you taken the soft top down yet? Make sure that the top is seated properly everywhere, especially at the windsheild. Look for gaps where the top meets the windsheild. I have heard people say they have the same problem and it is fixed when they adjust the soft top.

so, now i think the whistling sound is coming from the drivers side door, near the top...i am "car stupid" which is why i buy new so i have a warranty. any one have any ideas?

I have noticed it on mine, but only when crossing an bridge with with a cross wind

I bought a 2008 used and does it too.

The dealer said the same thing about having to adjust the top myself.

I just raise the music volume --lol!

it happens every time i hit about 25 mph...i dont remember if it whistles when i am on the highway...

i took the top off today, but it still does it. that's why I think its the door. this is a brand new jeep, ive only had it a little over a week now.

I would take it to the dealer. Demonstrate it to them. Make sure they make an invoice out for the to document that the problem was brought to their attention. Even if the invoice is for $0.00 because it is under warranty, it proves that you were there with the problem. If they don't fix it, contact Chrysler. They want happy customers. Even if they are almost out of business.

Fleet wise they are donig bad but in Feb they were up over 25% over last years sales!!!!!

Mine started this recently and something I discovered today while chasing a leak.... the door seal at the top of the door was not in its "channel" ... re-inserted and no leak and no whistle
