Okay, so I'm a noob at his stuff and I recently bought the Wild Boar front bumper and alongside it I also got the Smittybilt 9.5 XRC winch. So I find out that he mounting points for the 2 do not line up. So, is there like a winch plate that will solve my problem or am I gonna have to pay someone to drill into the bumper and install it for me. Here's a picture of the bumper's winch housing:
I have had this problem with a different bumper and just drilled new holes. Not a big deal, start with a small bit like 1/4" for pilot then go to the size you need. 9/16'?
Contact Wildboar tomorrow and find out if that's part of the winch plate or if they make a universal one. if you go on YouTube and search drilling into steel I'm sure there's tens of hundreds of videos to show you how to do it properly.
