1. It's a Jeep, it has removable doors + top, and a nearly vertical windshield.

2. Sounds like a soft top, they probably didn't put it back on correctly.

3. Do you have a hard top? If so, recommend getting the mopar headliners, that will cut down the noise.

hard top

its a hard top where the top over the driver and passenger can be removed. I had a little noise and took it to the dealer and they removed both of them and reinstalled them and said they could not find any problem,,, well the noise is a lot worse now

I'd take it right back to them and tell them to re-install it correctly. There's probably something loose. A lot of the noise you hear driving over 50 is air smacking into the windshield, that's just a fault of the wrangler's design.

The dealer don't care if the top is installed correctly....remove it yourself and make sure you install it correctly. As mentioned above, some wind noise is to be expected

That's ridiculous. It's extremely easy to put back together yourself. About five minutes of research and you will know exactly what to tighten/double check.

Yeah, my '13 Sport HT has wind noise. Wish it didn't but it's not that big of a deal.

I have a 2013 Unlimited Sahara and don't have any wind noise at all. Check the round roof bolts (screws) that are on the back top not the t-tops. When I removed mine last year and didn't put them back in, my window began to leak when it would rain because it wasn't sealed securely. Worth a try.

there is a company out there that sells a wind deflector, like the hood deflector that mounts just above the top of the windshield that will cure the problem. had mine for 4 years now and no problems. easy installation, and cost $29.95 plus s&h. I wish I had the company name but I do not. sorry for that.

Well I have a different wind noise issue with our top.. but yours sounds like the front header area.. May not be latched evenly/correctly. If the Hard top is askew slightly and you latched the header down tight, it still could divert air into the cockpit. Check that the rubber seals aren't bent up or backwards etc. I just think you need to get two people on the front of that top and force it down then latch lock it.

Check the round roof bolts (screws), do not over tight them.

The easy fix:
Install 35' tires
Install aftermarket stereo with amp.
The noise will disappear instantly...

I look at it like this:
The buffeting wind, 35s humming, etc. are my excuse for not having to be on the phone while driving. I love it!

Oh... ouch... man..... that hurt.

To add insult to injury, I drove the Pilot to work today while my Wife is taking the Jeep to Ocala this afternoon.
I am riding to Ocala tomorrow in my buddies Bronco and we are going wheeling.
One more hit... since I have been teaching her how to wheel it, she has actually spent more time in the drivers seat off road then I have.
But, I have been a fantastic instructor.

OK..
I am gonna go take a bath and listen to some Yanni now

The sign of a strong man is the ability to know his weaknesses.

I'm glad you took it the way I meant it, as a joke.

I have a 2013 Unlimited Sport Hardtop. Immediately noticed Windshield "wind noise" more on driver side vs passenger, once over 25mph. I researched here and there and "it's a Jeep" and "They do this" was mostly responses from Dealer, Forum, etc. So I have lived with it and it was no big deal.
***Update*** A Large rock cracked my windshield and I got it replaced. Guess what? The Noise Disappeared!!!! I never had any rain/water leakage as I could tell, and couldn't actually 'feel' the wind coming through , but obviously the replacement windshield solved the problem. So, that's my story and why some JK owners have issues and others not--- some factory 'issues' with the windshield install.

adjust your door a bit to the inside.. I Had the wind noise and the door alignment fixed the issue.. could be something else but you can try this and see.
