Recently purchased 2012 sport unlimited. Running wrangler duratec 315/70/17. I assume due to tire size it darts all over the road and is somewhat hard to handle. Suggestion? Would a steering stabilizer help?
Welcome: Were those the tires that came on the jeep ? Or did you put them on ?.
A wider tire will tend to grab and follow road ruts more than a stock size and width tire.
Any Mod's done to suspension .
Well there are a number of things you can check. Steering stabilizer to see if rod has good resistance compressing
And rebound. Check all bushings for wear, ie, control arms, tracbar. The stock ball joints aren't that great on these's
JK's either, check for play to. Bigger tires tend to be harder on them also. Yes as Kjeeper said what psi are you running .
33-34 would be good place to start...
Yeah , dealers and tire shops tend to over inflate all the time.
