This is a very serious issue as it might/will result in DW..

This is another major snafu" we are dealing with..I don't know the building sequence at the Chrysler plant but most probably the chassis components are installed with the chassis upside down on the assembly line..This will facilitate assembly. It seems to be logical for me that the "FINAL" torque needs to be done with the chassis on its wheel such that all suspension components are normally loaded. (I explained that in one of the other posts dealing with DW). It seems Chrysler just missed an operation..How else can you explain the "nicely crafted statement
SOME VEHICLES MAY EXPERIENCE A DEGRADATION OF FASTENER TORQUE FOR VARIOUS FRONT AND REAR AXLE ATTACHMENTS TO THE CHASSIS MODULE.
Seen the fact that certain torques are very critical to generate the designed clamping load (i.e track bar etc..) I wonder how the dealer will fix that.. Just run the air power impact tool until .........?
Just a "reflection" .. They seem to have good lawyers crafting these notices..
