0 2 Sensor

I have a 2002 jeep wrangler with 37,000 miles on it. The engine light went on and it came up with secondary 0 2 sensor. Should this happen with this amount of miles on it? Where do you suggest to get a new one and a good one because i know there are different brands. I want to put this in myself. Is it hard to do? Has anyone done it?

Thanks

What code did it throw? I get a P0133 or P0138 every time we have a good rain. It's been that way for 2 years now and I haven't replaced it. It has not effected the performance or mileage and the computer does not store the code. It goes off on it's own in roughly 10 restarts.

o2 sensors are easy to put in as long as the old one comes out easy. They sell specific sockets to take them out but i just used an open end box wrench. If you want a good one go to the dealer but i have had no issues with my advanced auto parts one.

hope this helps

How can you be sure that it is an 02 sensor if you don't know the code? Did you have it pulled by someone? If you haven't, you can pull the code yourself. You need that info to know which sensor and which bank. It could just be the wiring to the sensor or a slow response.
