01 jeep wrangler transmission issue

In town with my family for christmas and my sister has a 2001 6 cylinder auto tj, when it's cold outside and when the motor is cold the transmission slips when u put it in reverse, forward motion does fine. It was left in the garage
and it will do ok, so it seems like it is only reverse, while motor is cold and it has been left outside in the cold.

I've searched alot already on the forums and googled it and can't find anything!
Any help would be awesome! Thanks in advance
