newb here, i would like to put a 3 or 4 inch lift kit on my jeep, but i know that sometimes with buying lift kits, when you buy it you have to turn around and replace a bunch of other stuff so that its safe to drive or whatever the reason is.
i found a 4 inch skyjacker lift, but i wanted to know what the maximum height of a lift i can put on to where all i have to buy is the complete suspension lift kit. not sure if this makes much sense but im hoping someone out there will understand
Below 3-4" is where you need to address other items
Answer these questions first
- What do you plan on doing with your Jeep? Offroad - what kind off off roard. Do you want full articulation, rocks, or just mild trails and dirt roads? On road/pavement only?
- What wheels and backspacing? Tire width
- What fenders do you have?
- How much do you have to spend including installation if you are not going to do the work yourself?
Some of the guys will only give you the advise for full blown off road setup. If you are on road only or easy off road, you do not have to go all out on the lift and can make do or if your budget does not support it. If you want full off road capability, it can be more involved.
(Forget Skyjacker unless you are talking budget boost)

Correction "3-4" is where you need to address other items"
