02 TJ hardtop problem

The rubber channel on the bottom of the rear window broke over the years, and now is off completely. (Unless the rear tailgate is wide open, this hits the spare tire, causing it to crack and break!)

Jeep dealer says these are not made anymore (thanks Chrysler..lol) It is 2 pieces, the rubber which fits inside the hard plastic, and the hard plastic. These glue to the bottom of window. The top of the rear door holds pressure against it to shut the window tight! My old 91 had a frame all around the rear window, with a handle and latches..

Any ideas where to find one?

I have checked with a glass replacement shop, and they say the new window comes without this on it!
Thanks

Also before spring will need the zipper for the soft top rear window..lol...Having a problem finding the YKK #10c . fun, fun?..lol

Did I read the footnote right saying they do not sell #s 1-3, which includes the lower window strip? I think mine is still okay but probably not for long considering it is a 2001.

Just an update - Stan's Sewing Supplies, which carries replacement zippers, has a new website. It is called Zipper Shipper Sewing Supplies. You can get a replacement from this link:

Zippers have nothing to do with a hard top

This is a 2 year old thread

Thanks I rubi...And yes Neil, it is a two year old thread!! (I also asked 2 questions in one, which I apologize for. I did go to Stans Zipper, to find the zipper replacement for my 02 Sahara. Fit and worked perfect! I will save the site for the rubber at the bottome of the rear liftgate, for friends who have that model, or even the guy who bought my 02. Thanks.
I just bought a bright blue 91 YJ. Had one before, and this is my dirt road "beater" Jeep. Number 5. Had 2 CJ-5's, a 91, an o2, and back to the 91. Hopelessly hooked on Jeeps, I guess...lol
Thanks again guys!! Will get some photos in my garage of the blue bomb soon!! (hey, just noticed your profile Neil...lol...Mine is about that color blue!!...lol)
