05 Wrangler X possible tranny issue?

This is my first time ever posting on a forum but something funny happened on the way to work so I figured i'd give this a shot!

2005 Wrangler X just hit 74,500 miles. Driving on the highway going about 70mph uphill (but not majorly steep; just uphill) All of a sudden my RPM goes from 2 up to 4 out of no where. The jeep seemed to shake or maybe it was just me, also sounded louder. Got in the breakdown lane and parked it & shut it off. Started back up and drove the 2 miles left til my exit but this time everything seemed normal. Went up to 60mph and the rpm stayed around 2. Got to work, checked my transmission fluid (Yes in neutral while running) and my oil. Both were fine.

Any thoughts? Am I nuts?

So from what Ive been told by friends is that my transmission slipped while on the highway. Going 70mph then RPM jumping up to 4 but the Jeep wasnt accelerating. Then when I re-started it, everything was fine.

Still concerned but I guess theres nothing else I can do.
