1997 4.0L 5 speed, no AC - ECU Part Number

I swear one day soon I will start answering more questions then asking!

I need to get an new computer for my 97 4.7L 5 speed. I have an ECU from a 4.0 with the Auto Trans.

Anyone around these parts have a 97 4.0 5 speed - no AC? If so would you be so kind as to give me some numbers off the white stickers of your ECU?

Once I get the numbers I can order me a new 'puter and then get plates for my baby girl!

If you around Cleveland there could be an ice cold one in it for you!

Thanks all!

Sorry folks, but I need to bring this post back from the dead!

I cannot be the only person here with a 97 5 speed...

I no longer car if it has AC - if your does that will help me bick the other "computer."

I have my hat in my hand here ladies and gentlemen...

Can anyone with a 97 5 speed look for some part numbers off their ECM please?

That cold beer offer still stands

Thanks folks!

I need your TJ's manufacturing date (month/year) to get you the right PCM p/n. Should be embossed into the tag on the driver's side door sill.

Edit: Just tell me if it was made before or after 7/24/1997? And is your TJ set up for 50-state/California emissions? One more question it asks, power steering right?

Looks like the p/n you need is 04886686.

That is for the 4.0L engine, manual transmission, manufactured before 7/24/12. That is also 50-state compliant with the Calif. package.
