1997 Jeep Error code help

I just bought a 97 jeep se. 3 days after I bought it the check engine light came on there are the error codes I get...

12 Direct battery input to PCM was disconnected within the last 50 Key-on cycles.
55 Completion of fault code display on Check Engine lamp.
65 Power steering high pressure seen at high speed. (2.5L only)
77 Malfunction detected with poser feed to speed control servo solenoids

Now can anyone tell me what they mean? I see where I can reset the ECU but I am not sure if that is for a TJ that as old as mine. Is

To reset the ECU in a 97 you disconnect the battery and wait...I do not remember how long right now. Sorry.

But I think that was done by the previous owner! That is why you have the 12 Code and the CEL was off when you bought the Jeep.

I will research the 65 and 77 codes when I can get a moment.

Anybody else know these 2 codes?

Thank you. I figured that is what the 12 code meant.
55 might be there cuz I started the codes then stopped them before if finished displaying them. I did not have a pencil ready...

55 is always the last code. It lets you know its done checking

The 55 code only indicates all codes were displayed successfully and no more codes follow. You can reset your codes by disconnecting the battery for 2 minutes or, more easily, the driver's side most connector on the PCM which can be disco'd without any tools. That will reset the PCM codes without losing radio station presets and the clock time.

Yo 123!

I hate to say it but all of my FSM's are to old for the 65 code.

I did find the 77 Code. Google "P1683 + (your jeep year)"

Now it is clear as mud LOL

P1683 SPD CTRL PWR Relay; or S/C 12v Driver CKT An open or shorted condition detected in the speed control servo power control circuit. (SBECII: ext relay).

Too funny.

If you need to the speed sensor is the sensor furthest back on the T-Case.

Are you registering speed on your speedo?

I am sure more will hop in here and help. I need to return to the Ass Whoopin' this Tie Rod is giving me.

The speedo works fine. I did read somewhere that it could be cruise control related but I do no have CC.
