1998 wrangler 2.5 bucking like a bronco

Okay so after a week of throwing money at my jeep I'm stuck. Last week my jeep was running fine no problems besides it took a little love on a cold start which I figured to be a fuel pressure problem. Now to my current problem, when my jeep gets nice Anadarko warm I get a backfire and she misses like crazy then evenly dies out. If I floor it sometimes she'll pull through and return to a normal running idle when in neutral. At first I figured its time to go ahead and get that fuel pump so started with new fuel pump, plugs, wires, and distributor cap. All seemed to running while until once again I get missing and backfires. I turned to the Internet and found a guy having similar problems and he replaced his upstream O2 sensor and everything returned to normal no missing. So I replaced O2 with no luck. Found another forum with a coolant temp sensor causing the same problems. Replaced it today with no luck. At this point I'm stuck on where I should turn to next. I'm running low on funds and don't really feel like replacing my entire electrical system until I figure it out. So besides all the new parts in the electric department my jeep does not have a cat which I don't think would cause all these problems but who knows. Anyone have an idea of what my be causing this problem or is it simple my cat causing this. I don't wanna spend a ton of money for a new cat and find out its something else. Please any help would be great. Thanks in advanced.
