Howdy,
in an attempt to keep a long story short here:
last fall drained A/C to replace heater core. Recently had a local shop charge the a/c system up again. The clutch will not engage from the HVAC panel.
I hit the web, found some troubleshooting steps. I jumpered the A/C switch connection and viola! the A/C works and blows cold.(verified clutch is spinning).
From here the internet gets confusing. Do I just assume the a/c switch on the accumulator is defective and replace it?
If yes, do I need to drain the system again to replace this switch, or can I just pull it without causing a leak in the system?
Thanks for reading,
Eli
