1st. morning start with a/c on.

When i start my jeep ('04 66k TJ 4.0) in the morning and my a/c is on (stays on I'm in Texas) the jeep will idle up for 1 second and come back down to a rough idle for 3 seconds and then go up a little smoothing out. It only happens the first start of the day. TPS and IAC are new. So are the plugs. It's done this for the past couple of weeks I have owned it. I cold started a 2000 TJ with the A/C on and it didn't do this. Throttle Body was recently cleaned. Normal? as maybe the computer is catching up? thks

My F150 recommends turning off the a/c before turning the motor off.

Startups with a/c on can eventually lead to early problems with the alternator.. I make it a habit of turning it off when I turn the Jeep off. I have also gotten my wife in the habit as well.

Yeah, just give everything a minute to charge up and get idle after the crank up and then max that sucker out.. it's HOT already this year..

I hear ya. It took me a while...

to find my jeep as I will only buy a lighter color down here. Although it's impossible to beat the looks of an all black jeep when clean.
