If I had a 2.4 I would look into using a turbo setup from a 2.4 PT cruiser not the GT one but the middle engine with turbo that runs on regular unleaded I know there is a 2004 version of that PT cruiser

Of course! That's my luck!
But I'm not looking for it to go fast just make it easier for it to run Down the road at high way speeds with out strugglin so bad only want about 3-4lbs boost from it

Will have to look them up.
If I was looking for more horse power I would start looking in to v8 or v6 swaps

Junkyardturbos.com has a neat write up. It's on a camaro but there's no reason it wouldn't work on any vehicle...

And the 2.5 is a stout little motor it should handle up to 6# of boost without a problem. As long as you just driving it and not WOT all the time!!

Lol I can not say I won't ever take it WOT however I'm past most of that for a daily driver I hope lol
But on the trail you really don't need it so in traffic or on the supper slab will be nice but not on a trail. The 2.5 is a great platform but trying to find the parts at a good price seems to be the trick

Don't be. It's all good. I hope to go check out a local race shop to see what they will quote me for a custom header... I found a header flange on eBay for 10 bucks. So that's a good start

Can't beat that with a stick! The pipe shouldn't be to bad. Might also check a custom bike builder in the area if ya have one they can mock up some pipe also
