So this may seem a little picky but I've noticed only lately that when I start the old jeep she tends to spit and sputter a little bit, kind of like what you would expect out of an engine with a carburetor on it. After it runs for a couple of minutes the problem goes away. I went thru last summer and changed plus, wires, cap, etc. I'm not a super motor head my any means. I have noticed occasionally even after its warm it will miss a little every once in a while but no big deal. I've only got about 10,000 miles on my last plug change. Also I have been told the fuel filter is an un-serviceable item,, is this true? I go to the parts store fully intending to swap the part but I'm told they don't sell them because they can't be changed.. thoughts, ideas? Thanks in advance for any input!

First...I would check ALL the vacuum lines very closely!

Then even kind of feel them for hardness, and "rough spots", and as many are weird plastic, long wise splits. You don't say what year your Jeep is, but if it is an injected one, you may have an injector getting weak. They are pretty easy to replace, but take care to keep the new ones clean during install, and use NEW o-rings, they are pretty expensive, as you really need to replace all 4 at once.
